24 atha yudhiṣṭhireṇa dharmarājenetthaṃ vyāsamukhāddharmāraṇyamāhātmyaṃ śrutvā dharmāraṇyaṃ prati
gatvā tīrthasnāneṣṭāpūrtādividhiṃ kṛtvendraprasthaṃ pratyāgatya rājyaśāsanam, dharmāraṇya-

24. Now, King Yudhiṣṭhira, having thus heard the Dharmāraṇyamāhātmya from the mouth of Vyāsa, went to Dharmāraṇya, performed the rites of bathing at the sacred ford, sacrificial works, charitable works, and so forth, and having returned to Indraprastha, ruled the kingdom; the description of the power of the māhātmya of the sacred fords located in Dharmāraṇya. 140 2
