Thus ends the thirteenth chapter, entitled 'The Description of Gandhavatī and Alakā,' in the first half of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a compendium of eighty-one thousand [verses]. (13)
