iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇe ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ caturthe kāśīkhaṃḍe pūrvārddhe gaṃgāmahimavarṇanapūrvaka daśaharā stotrakathanaṃnāma saptaviṃśatitamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 27 ..

Thus ends the twenty-seventh chapter, entitled “The Narration of the Daśaharā Hymn of Praise Preceded by the Description of the Greatness of the Gaṅgā,” in the first half of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, in the fourth [section] of the glorious Skandamahāpurāṇa, in the collection of eighty-one thousand verses. // 27
