iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśīti sāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ caturthe kāśīkhaṃḍe uttarārddhe kāśīvarṇana gaṇeśapreṣaṇaṃ nāma paṃcapaṃcāśattamo'dhyāyaḥ..55..

Thus ends the fifty-fifth chapter, named 'The Description of Kāśī and the Dispatch of Gaṇeśa,' in the latter half of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa in the eighty-one-thousand-verse Compendium of the glorious Skandapurāṇa.
