iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ caturtheṃ kāśīkhaṃḍa uttarārdhe paṃcanadāvirbhāvo nāmaikonaṣaṣṭitamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 59 ..

Thus ends the fifty-ninth chapter, named "The Appearance of the Pañcanada," in the latter half of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, in the fourth [section of] the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a compendium of eighty-one thousand [verses].
