yāni gotrāṇi naṣṭāni yāni saṃsthāpitāni ca..
nāmatastāni no brūhi tatpuraṃ sūta nandana .. 7 ..

tatropamanyugotrā ye krauṃcagotrasamudbhavāḥ ..
kaiśoryaṃ gotrasaṃbhūtāstraivaṇeyā dvijottamaḥ 8 ..

The seers said: / Which lineages were lost, and which were re-established— / tell us their names, O son of Sūta, [along with] that city. // 7 // / Sūta said: / There, those of the Upamanyu lineage, those born of the Krauñca lineage, / those born of the Kaiśorya lineage, [and] the Traivaṇeyas, O best of brahmins, // 8
