triśūlaṃ ca mahādevaḥ pāśaṃ ca varuṇaḥ svayam ..
ādityaśca sitānbāṇāṃścaṃdramāścarma cottamam .. 15 ..

Mahādeva [gave] a trident, and Varuṇa himself a noose; / the Sun [gave] white arrows, and the Moon an excellent shield;
