Thus ends the one hundred thirty-seventh chapter, entitled “Description of the Event of Māṇḍavya’s Impalement,” in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa, the sixth [part] of the Māhātmya of the Hāṭakeśvara Sacred Field, in the eighty-one-thousand-verse collection of the glorious Skanda Purāṇa.
