5.15.13

taṃ dṛṣṭvā prāha sā kaṃṭhādvimucya bhujabaṃdhanam
kathaṃ tāpasarūpeṇa tvaṃ māṃ mohitumāgataḥ 48
niśamya vacanaṃ tasyāḥ sāṃtvayanprāha tāṃ hariḥ
śṛṇu vṛṃdārike tvaṃ māṃ viddhi lakṣmīmanoharam 49
tava bhartā haraṃ jetuṃ gaurīmānayituṃ gataḥ
ahaṃ śivaḥ śivaścāhaṃ pṛthaktve na vyavasthitau 6.15.50
jālaṃdharo hataḥ saṃkhye bhaja māmadhunānaghe
nārada uvāca-

Seeing him, she released the embrace of her arms from his neck and said: / “Why have you come in the form of an ascetic to deceive me?” / Hearing her words, Hari spoke to comfort her: / “Listen, Vṛndārikā, know me to be the charmer of Lakṣmī. / Your husband went to conquer Hara and bring back Gaurī; / I am Śiva and Śiva is I, we do not exist separately. / Jālandhara has been killed in battle; worship me now, blameless lady!” / Nārada said:
