tataḥ provāca tau brahmā sāmnā paramavalgunā ..
nivartyatāmidaṃ yuddhametaddivyāstrasaṃbhavam ..
yāvanna pralayo bhāvi samaste dharaṇītale .. 16 .. ..

Then Brahmā spoke to them both with exceedingly soothing words: / “Let this battle arising from divine weapons be stopped, / before dissolution occurs over the entire surface of the earth.” 16
