yājñikaṃ dakṣiṇā hīno nāsti yajñasamo ripuḥ .. 15 ..

'A sacrifice devoid of food burns the realm; devoid of mantras, it burns the priests; / devoid of sacrificial fee, it burns the sacrificer—there is no enemy equal to [such] a sacrifice.'"
