5.181.44

śuklapakṣe caturdaśyāṃ kārtike jāgaraṃ tu yaḥ ..
kariṣyati punaścāsya liṃgasya susamāhitaḥ ..
ājanmaprabhavātpāpātsa vimuktimavāpsyati .. 44 ..

And whoever, with a concentrated mind, / keeps vigil for this liṅga on the fourteenth day of the bright fortnight of Kārtika, / will be liberated from the sin born from his birth.”
