tataḥ prāha nijāṃ bhāryāṃ rahasye nṛpasattama..
jñāto'haṃ brāhmaṇaiḥ sarvairaṃtyajātisamudbhavaḥ ..
deśātaraṃ gamiṣyāmi tvamāgaccha mayā saha .. 168 ..

Then in secret he said to his own wife, O best of kings: / “I have been recognized by all the brahmins as an outcast by birth. / I will go to another country; you come with me.”
