sa kasmātprathamaḥ praśno nāgarāṇāṃ prakīrtitaḥ .. 13 ..

The brahmins said: / “The Ātharvaṇa is renowned as the fourth brahmin. / Why has his question been proclaimed as first among the Nāgaras?”
