tatoṃ'ḍebhyo viniṣkrāṃtāḥ prāṇino raudrarūpiṇaḥ ..
kṛṣṇadaṃtāḥ śaṃkukarṇā ūrdhvakeśā bhayāvahāḥ ..
raktākṣāśca tataḥ procurviśvedevāṃśca te nṛpa .. 77 ..

Then, from those eggs, creatures of terrifying form came forth, / black-toothed, peg-eared, with upright hair, frightful, / and red-eyed; and then, O king, they said to the Viśvedevas:
