brahmalokaṃ gatāḥ sarve duḥkhena mahatā'nvitāḥ ..
procuśca dīnayā vācā praṇipatya pitāmaham .. 6.206.80 ..

Having spoken thus about the śrāddha, O best of kings, all the Viśvedevas, / filled with great sorrow, went to the world of Brahmā, / and bowing down to the Grandfather, said in a plaintive voice:
