.. viśvāmitra uvāca .. ..
praśnabhāro mahāneṣa tvayā me parikīrtitaḥ ..
tathāpi ca vadiṣyāmi yadi te kautukaṃ nṛpa ..
yasmātsañjāyate doṣaścūrṇapatrasya bhakṣaṇāt.. 11 ..

Viśvāmitra said: / This is a heavy burden of questions that has been set forth to me by you; / nevertheless, I shall tell you, O king, if you are curious, / why fault arises from consuming the leaf with lime.
