tato madhyaṃ gate sūrye kāle kutapasaṃjñite ..
snātaḥ śuklāṃbaradharaḥ santarpya pitṛdevatāḥ ..
santuṣṭāṃśca samāhūtāṃstānviprāñchrāddhamācaret .. 41 ..

Then, when the sun has reached the zenith, at the time called kutapa, / having bathed, wearing white garments, having gratified the ancestors and the gods, / and having invited those Brahmins who are contented, one should perform the śrāddha, 41
