iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ ṣaṣṭhe nāgarakhaṇḍe hāṭakeśvarakṣetramāhātmye śrāddhakalpe śrāddhārhānarhabrāhmaṇādivarṇanaṃnāma trayoviṃśatyuttaraśatatamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 223 . ..

Thus ends the two hundred and twenty-third chapter, titled "Description of Brahmins Worthy and Unworthy of Śrāddha and Others, in the Ritual of Śrāddha," in the Māhātmya of the Sacred Field of Hāṭakeśvara, in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa, the sixth [part] of the auspicious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
