yatkiṃcidvihitaṃ pāpaṃ tvayā pūrvaṃmayā hi tat..
gṛhītaṃ mūrtirūpaṃ tattatastvaṃ pāpavarjitaḥ..
iti pratigrahamaṃtraḥ.. 14..
"Whatever sin was committed by you in the past, that has indeed been taken
by me in the form of this image; therefore, you are freed from sin."
Thus is the acceptance mantra.
