nānyosti vāraṇe śakto viṃdhasyāsya hi taṃ vinā ..
agastyaṃ brāhmaṇaśreṣṭhaṃ mitrāvaruṇasaṃbhavam .. 23 ..

“Indeed, there is no other capable of stopping this Vindhya except him,
Agastya, the best of brahmins, born from Mitra and Varuṇa.”
