eṣa pārthivaśārdūlastriśaṃkuriti viśrutaḥ.

Viśvāmitra said: / "This is the tiger among kings known as Triśaṅku. / He was reduced to the state of a caṇḍāla by the sons of Vasiṣṭha out of wrath.
