so'pi vidyābalātsarpānnirviṣāṃstāṃścakāraha ..
tatra snātvā śucirbhūtvā kṛtvā ca pitṛtarpaṇam ..
niṣkrāṃtaḥ salilāttasmātkṛtakṛtyo mudānvitaḥ .. 29 ..

He too, by the power of his science, rendered those serpents venomless. / Having bathed there, become pure, and offered libations to the ancestors, / he emerged from that water, having accomplished his purpose and filled with joy.
