5.47.10

dīnāṃdhakṛpaṇebhyaśca tathānyebhyaḥ sahasraśaḥ ..
varṣevarṣe sadaivaṃ sa samabhyetya mahīpatiḥ ..
vaiśākhyāṃ jāgaraṃ tasya devasya purato'karot .. 6.47.10 ..

and by thousands to the poor, the blind, and the destitute, as well as others. / Year after year, that ruler of the earth, having always arrived thus / on the full moon of Vaiśākha, kept a vigil before that god.
