tathā govardhanadharaṃ tatra devaṃ janārdanam ..
yaḥ paśyetkārtike śukle saṃprāpte prathame dine..
tasya gāvaḥ prabhūtāḥ syurnīrogā dvisattamāḥ .. 11 ..

Likewise, whoever beholds the god Janārdana holding Mount Govardhana there, / when the first day in the bright half of Kārtika arrives, / his cows will become numerous and free of disease, O best of the twice-born.
