.. śrībhagavānuvāca .. ..
sāmānyavacanaṃ proktaṃ sarvastrīṇāmanena hi ..
tatkimarthaṃ mahābhāge tvayā caivedṛśaḥ kṛtaḥ .. 6 ..

The Blessed One said: / “Indeed, a general statement regarding all women was uttered by him. / Then why, O highly fortunate lady, has he been made like this by you?”
