Thus ends the twenty-sixth chapter, entitled “Description of the Māhātmya of the Mandākinī Kṣetra,” in the Avantīkṣetramāhātmya of the fifth section, the Āvantyakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa of eighty-one thousand verses.
