ye paśyaṃti narā devi piśāceśvarasaṃjñakam .
teṣāṃ hi pitaraḥ sadyo ye cāpi niraye sthitāḥ ..
piśācatvādvimucyaṃte svargaṃ yāṃti na saṃśayaḥ .. 5.2.68.50 ..

Those men who behold the [liṅga] named Piśāceśvara, O goddess— / their ancestors indeed, even those situated in hell, / are immediately freed from the condition of a piśāca and go to heaven, without a doubt.
