tataḥ sa tvarito vipro jagāma mahiṣīḥ prati .
na tatra mahiṣīḥ paśyetpaścātkṣetrābhisammukham .. 103.151 ..

Then that brahmin went in haste toward the buffaloes; / he did not see the buffaloes there, and afterwards [went] facing toward the field.
