tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā nandāmuddiśya bhārata .
dadāti dānaṃ viprebhyaḥ so'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet .. 140.6 ..
Whoever bathes in that sacred ford and, dedicating it to Nandā, O Bhārata, / gives a gift to brahmins, obtains the fruit of a horse sacrifice.
