tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā śrāddhaṃ kuryātprayatnataḥ .
pitṝṇāṃ prīṇanārthāya sarvaṃ tena kṛtaṃ bhavet .. 147.3 ..
Whoever, having bathed at that sacred ford, performs a śrāddha with diligence / for the sake of pleasing the ancestors, everything has been accomplished by him.
