Thus ends the sixteenth chapter, named 'The Description of the Praise of Śiva Uttered by Brahmā', in the Narmadāmāhātmya of the Revākhaṇḍa, in the fifth Avantīkhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand verses.
