tataḥ prasuptaḥ sahasā vibuddho rātrikṣaye devavaraḥ svabhāvāt .
vikṣobhayan bāhubhirarṇavāmbho jagatpraṇaṣṭaṃ salile vimṛśya .. 19.34 ..

Then, having been asleep, the best of gods suddenly awoke by his own nature at the end of the night,
agitating the waters of the ocean with his arms, having reflected on the world lost in the flood.
