vṛṣa uvāca -
bhobho nṛpavaraśreṣṭha tīrthamāhātmyamuttamam .
yatra cāsmadvidhastīrthe mucyate pātakairnaraḥ .
mayā jñātamaśeṣeṇa matsamo nāsti pātakī .. 209.169 ..

The bull said: / O best of noble kings! Excellent is the māhātmya of this sacred ford, / the sacred ford where even a man like me is freed from sins. / I have understood it completely; there is no sinner equal to me.
