tīrthānyanusaranmaunī trisnāyī saṃsmarañchivam .
revārṇavasamāyoge snātvā sampūjya śaṅkaram .
kālenālpena rājarṣe brahmāpyamalatāṃ gataḥ .. 226.16 ..

silently following the sacred fords, bathing thrice daily, meditating upon Śiva.
Having bathed at the confluence of the Revā and the ocean and worshipped Śaṅkara,
in a short time, O royal seer, even Brahmā attained purity.
