Thus ends the forty-seventh chapter, entitled 'Description of the Gods' Departure to Heaven,' in the Revākhaṇḍa of the fifth section, the Āvantyakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses].
