purohita uvāca -
gṛhāṇa rājñi puṣpāṇi kuru pūjāṃ gadābhṛtaḥ .
upakāraḥ prakartavyo vyapadeśena karhicit .. 56.105 ..

The priest said: / “Accept the flowers, O Queen, and perform the worship of the mace-bearer [Viṣṇu]. / A favor should be done, even under a pretext, at times.”
