tyaktvā gaṅgāṃ tadā rājñī gatā kāṣṭhāṃ tu dakṣiṇām .
prāptā sā sacivaiḥ sārddhaṃ yatra revā mahānadī .. 56.31 ..

Then, having left the Gaṅgā, the princess went toward the southern quarter.
