śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca -
ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi tiladhenośca yatphalam .
yathā yasminyadā deyā dāne tasyāḥ śubhaṃ phalam .. 90.90 ..

The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Hereafter I shall declare the fruit of the sesamum-cow: / how, to whom, and when it should be given, and the auspicious fruit of gifting it.
