karomi na ca saṃmohaṃ yathā tvaṃ deva katthase37 .
tamuvāca tadā brahmā na tvaṃ dhārayitā vibho ..3 1 . .
ahameva hi bhūtānāṃ dharttā38 hartā39 tathaiva ca .
mayā sṛṣṭāni bhūtāni tvamevātra vimuhyase ..32..

and I do not become deluded in the manner that you boast, O god!' / Brahmā then said to him: 'You are not the supporter, O mighty one! / I alone am the supporter of beings, and likewise the destroyer; / the beings were created by me; it is you who are deluded here.'"
