śṛṇuyād vātha viprān55 vā śrāvayīta56 yatavrataḥ .
sa sarvapāpanirmukto rudralokamavāpnuyāt ..42..

Whoever, restrained in vows, listens to this [tale] marked by the curse of Dakṣa and the bodilessness of the goddess, / or recites it to brahmins, / freed from all sins, attains the world of Rudra.
