Whoever, having purified himself, always hears or reads this: / the great sage Kaśyapa's becoming the earth, / and the earth's return, and her restoration, / shall obtain imperishable worlds and the fruit of the earth. (16–17) / Constantly bowing down here to her, the source of all the worlds, O sage, / the best of men who proclaims the wealth-giving earth obtains the imperishable world of the seer. (18) / Thus ends the one hundred and twenty-fourth chapter, entitled 'Kaśyapa's Becoming the Earth', in the Skandapurāṇa.
