vainateyasvasovāca
ṣaṣṭiḥ putrasahasrāṇi21 mama santu narādhipa .
śaivyābravīt suto mahyameko vaṃśakarostu vai ..22. .
sanatkumāra uvāca
asamañjasutaṃ22 śaivyā tataḥ sā saṃprasūyata .
vainateyasvasāstumbaṃ23 mahāntaṃ saṃprasūyata ..23 ..

The sister of Vainateya said:
May sixty thousand sons be mine, O lord of men. / Śaivyā said: Let there be for me one son who will perpetuate the lineage.
Sanatkumāra said:
Then Śaivyā gave birth to a son named Asamañja; / and the sister of Vainateya gave birth to a great gourd.
