sanatkumāra uvāca
tataḥ sośvaṃ samādāya nivṛtto vyāsa bhūpatiḥ .
pitāmahāya pradadau tamaśvaṃ sukṛtātmavān ..12. .
sopi rājā tadā prāpya hayamedhaṃ mahāmanāḥ .
samudranāśane buddhiṃ cakre sutavadhārditaḥ . . 13 . .

Sanatkumāra said: / Then taking the horse, O Vyāsa, the king returned; / of virtuous soul, he gave that horse to his grandfather. / Then having obtained the horse sacrifice, that magnanimous king, / afflicted by the slaughter of his sons, set his mind on destroying the ocean.
