gaṅgā tvaṃ rājaśārdūla svargānneṣyasi bhūtalam .
tāṃ patantīṃ divaḥ35 kaścicchakto dhārayituṃ nahi .
ṛte lokagurordevāt tryambakācchūlapāṇinaḥ36 . .3 3 ..

“You, O tiger among kings, will lead the Gaṅgā from heaven to the surface of the earth. / Yet no one is capable of holding her as she falls from heaven,
except the divine Guru of the world, Tryambaka, who holds the trident in his hand.
