kṣipanti śubhrābhranibhāḥ śilāḥ kvacit tarūnsamutpāṭya nadanti meghavat .
nivāryamāṇāḥ pramathān49 samārdayan vaneṣu siṃhā mṛgayūthapāniva ..48..

In some places they hurled stones resembling white clouds; tearing up trees, they roared like clouds; / when opposed, they crushed the Pramathas, as lions [crush] the leaders of herds of deer in the forests.
