sa girivyūha ābhāti śastrakaṇṭakitadrumaḥ .
andhakāramivaikasthaṃ meghānāmiva saṃcayam . . 38. .
dṛṣṭvā dṛṣṭvā girivyūhaṃ pramathā vismayaṃ yayuḥ .
parvatavyūhamālokya parvatavyūhasaṃsthitāḥ 41 .. 3 9..

that mountain-array shone forth, its trees bristling with weapons, / like darkness gathered into one place, like a mass of clouds. / Seeing again and again the mountain-array, the Pramathas were astonished, / looking upon the mountain-array while stationed in their own mountain-array.
