you shall attain the state of fish, born again and again. / As long as worlds, mountains, and oceans exist,
so long shall you become fish, creatures of the water, dwelling in the sea. / Eating human flesh, sinful ones, you shall be eaten by humans.
You shall spend a hundred crore years under my curse!” / Having thus cursed the rest into dwelling in the waters of the ocean,
Śukra of great splendour, brilliant as the moon, fell silent.
Sanatkumāra said: / Then those Asuras, struck by the curse of their guru, were seen
in the waters of the ocean, armed, armoured, and mail-clad.
