śṛṅgayoracalendrasya taḍitvāniva cāmbudaḥ10 .. 16 . .

That arrow sank deep between his two frontal lobes, / like a lightning-bearing cloud between the twin peaks of the king of mountains. / With his mind enraged by the arrow, shaking his trunk and head, / bending down and striking the great Daitya with the tip of his trunk, he roared.
