nandyuvāca
aśokatarukaṃ putraṃ giriputrī grahīṣyati .
tatra tvāṃ35 sānugaṃ devo nimantrayati śaṅkaraḥ ..28 . .
ye caiva viṣaye36 hyasmin nivasanti dvijātayaḥ .
tām̐ścāmantrayate devaḥ saṃmānya bahumānataḥ . . 29..

Nandī said: / "The daughter of the mountain will adopt the little aśoka tree as her son. / The god Śaṅkara invites you there along with your followers. / And whatever twice-born reside in this realm, / the god invites them also, honoring them with great esteem.
